YOUR ACCOMMODATION

Granite steps lead up from the central square directly into the living room with cream leather settees, Satellite TV and DVD/CD player, bistro table and chairs............Through to the fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob and all of the utensils, plates, cups etc that you may need, leading off the kitchen on the ground floor is a shower room also with toilet and basin.

Take the open plan oak staircase to the second floor landing to a further convenient washroom (basin and WC) and large bedroom featuring an exposed stone chimney with a double bed and a single bed over-looking the central square.

Continue across the landing to a further oak staircase leading up to the 'Abbey', a romantic bedroom with double bed, vaulted ceiling and exposed beams again over-looking the central square.

This property is ideal for up to 5 people plus babies in their own cots.  The property is not suitable for pets - there is no garden.

The house is fully double glazed with electric radiators.

MARKET DAY - EVERY WEDNESDAY

Here you don't need to be up at the crack of dawn to visit the French market - it comes to you!  Every Wednesday the market arrives right outside your front door.  Fresh flowers, local produce, delightful cheese, crepes and gallettes, clothes, food, jewellery ready for your perusal at leisure.

LOCAL BARS, RESTAURANTS, SHOPS AND FACILITIES

On arrival you will find an in-depth guide to everything around you.  Short strolls lead to restaurants of all kinds, plenty of bars to sit out and enjoy Normandy life. Boulangeries, Epiceries, Boucheries, Banks, hairdressers, chemists, jewellery and gift shops - it is just all here.

A 10 minute walk or less than a 2 minute drive takes you to a large supermarket with a laundrette and fuel service-station.

For those without cars:  Regular bus service to and from Le Mont Saint Michel, general bus, train and taxi station about a 10 minute walk, car hire available locally.

A LITTLE ABOUT US

After many holidays and tours around Brittany and Normandy staying in various gites, B&B and hotels we bought our first property in Brittany in 2001.  Now we are settled here full time and thoroughly enjoying the French life and our surroundings.  We're only 10 minutes away.

During our own holidays we looked for gites/self-catering properties to enjoy as our holiday base where we could come and go as we pleased and feel involved in the locality yet close the door and be private and peaceful, though we would often need to run the gauntlet of driving out to dinner or for a social evening in a cosy bar, somebody always had to drive.  Especially demoralising in the 'low' season many towns were 'closed'.

We offer this lovely little town house to you to enjoy your experience in France to the full.
