The French Market arrives right outside your front door every Wednesday, sample and enjoy all of the local fresh produce, find those special presents to take home.
Leave the car keys behind and enjoy France! Pontorson Mont Saint Michel train station just a few minutes walk (SNCF, TGV rail network) Airports, ferry ports, taxi and coach stations so easily accessible. Regular coach times from town to Mont-Saint-Michel and beyond through-out the day. Airport and sea port collections can be arranged from Dinard Airport and Saint-Malo Ferry port. For those travelling by car there is plenty of parking.
Thought to have been built in the 16th or 17th Century (nobody is quite sure) this little town-house has been thoroughly modernised retaining its quirky original features. She has a lovely history, during World War II in her attics she hid an old valve radio which was tuned in to London to hear of the war effort; later she became a café. René , René where are you?
Entering directly from the market square up a set of hefty granite steps the main living room is comfortably furnished with soft cream leather settees and relaxing hues of cream, cornflower blue and beige.
The living room leads to the equipped, fitted kitchen with dishwasher, micro-wave, cooker, fridge and all of the cutlery, plates pots and pans you may need. Off the kitchen is the shower room and wc on the ground floor.
Rising to the first floor landing serving another wc and washroom and the family bedroom with a double and a single bed. Here you'll start to notice the eclectic mix of ancient and modern.
A further set of stairs lead to a further bedroom with double bed, romantically themed with lilac and roses with exposed beams. These stairs are very steep and are the original set.
Please note that Saint-Michel is often booked well in advance for July or August so please make your enquiry as early as possible.
Please see our tariff board below. This is for the rental of the entire property on a private self-catering basis from 1 person up to 5 people. Our prices include the French 'Taxe de Sejour' which is a holiday tax levied by the Mayor.

Please note, bedrooms are of very good size: Bedroom 1 (First floor) has 1 single bed and one double bed. Bedroom 2 (Second floor) has one double bed.
Second floor has very steep stairs to reach bedroom 2.
Bed linen included, all electricity included, all equipment included. Launderette and supermarket within 10 minute walk.
Please bring your own beach towels.
A welcome pack provided with tea, coffee, milk, sugar
£100 reservation deposit and £100 refundable security deposit required in advance.
All arrivals at 4pm until 7pm, departures before 10am.
